Customer Reviews Summary

"Previously I wrote a review about a previous visit regarding a that technician entered our store without real time notice, triggering the alarm and police dispatch. I spoke with Jonathan who ignored and was dismissive of our protocol and even threatened to remove us from the service route. I was later removed from the service route without my knowledge. I followed up today and was told by Hunter that’s it’s best for us not to be business together because of my previous review, I agree. Again, this is all due to their technician entering our store without our knowledge."

"Jonathan, the Operations Manager, was extremely unprofessional, rude, argumentative, and dismissive of our safety procedures. He called my phone at 7 a.m., stating that the store code wasn’t working for the technician who was onsite. I explained that we had changed the code and reminded him that our store requires a call before entry to disable the alarm. On a previous visit, a technician entered without real time notice, triggering the alarm and police dispatch. Despite this, Jonathan ignored and was dismissive of our protocol, repeatedly insisting that I provide the code. I told him that I would give it directly to the technician instead. He disregarded this, claimed the technician would give him the code anyway, and even threatened to remove us from the service route. His aggressive behavior made me feel unsafe, and I do not trust him with access to our store. A member of management did respond to my email and outlined a plan of action to address the situation, which I appreciate. However, I still do not feel comfortable knowing that Johnathan, who displayed that level of aggression and told me he would still have access to my store, even after I refused to provide the code directly, remains involved. After over four years, I will be looking for a different service provider."

"The company came in to the restaurant i work in and charged us $95 just to tell us that the pipe was broken (which we already knew and asked them to fix). Instead the manager cursed us out when we asked if he could remove the charge. Soon after, we left a comment on google and they refused to offer us service until we remove the comment. Once we did remove the comment, they told us that they will never serve the business ever again and to go look for someone else to take care of our issue. Waste of time and horrible staff. Would not recommend to anyone."

Compliance Q&A Accordion (Macon Regulations)

Understanding how this provider coordinates with Bibb County and Macon Water Authority codes:

Why does their large fleet size matter?

Because Apex Environmental Services operates 17 state-registered vacuum trucks, they can virtually guarantee emergency response times and consistent scheduling without the delays typical of smaller operations.

Is Apex Environmental Services properly licensed to haul grease?

Yes, Apex Environmental Services is actively registered with the state and holds unique FOG (Fats, Oils, and Grease) transport permits, making them fully compliant with commercial wastewater regulations.

How often is my commercial kitchen required to pump its grease trap?

Under the standard Georgia 25% Rule, Apex Environmental Services recommends pumping when combined fats, oils, grease, and settled solids reach 25% of the total liquid depth, or at least quarterly.

What documentation do I need for municipal FOG audits?

When Apex Environmental Services services your interceptor, they will provide a physical pumping manifest. You are required by most local authorities to maintain these records on-site for a minimum of 3 years.

Does this company handle interceptor blockages and backups?

Yes, alongside routine liquid waste hauling, active commercial pumpers are equipped to handle urgent line jetting and localized backups for their commercial accounts.
