Customer Reviews Summary

"Highly recommend Carter’s environmental. They were very quick to get out and address our septic tank needs. I used a different company two months prior and I was told our septic tank was full of dirt and they could only pump so much and when I brought carter’s environmental in to pump the septic tank, they specifically showed me what was going on. They told me it was not full of dirt and I really appreciate their honesty and help. Thank you so much, Tony"

"I've waited several months to complete this review in order to give this company a fair shake. We purchased our house in Fall 2017 and learned a year later that our septic tank was full and the pipe from the house to the septic tank was falling apart and clogged with roots. We called Carter's Environmental to get someone out as fast as possible. The first time they came out, they were pleasant, cleared everything as best they could and we paid the $500 fee. Our system clogged up again and they came out and said we had to replace the pipe - they quoted us $1000. We agreed and they stated they would come out within the next two days. We had to call when they didn't show up, at which point we were informed that they were working an emergency job at Hays Prison. We waited another two days, until I had to call and ask to speak the owner himself. He was rude, but when I told him I was already calling around to see who else could come out, he sent his guys out there the next day. During the job, his guys busted one of our water pipes and they had to fix and replace it. The next day when they finished the work, they called my husband and informed him the bill was $2000. When my husband pointed out that they had originally quoted us around $1000, Tony stated that he could not leave our house until he was paid $2000 and he would be sitting in our driveway until we got home if necessary. We went ahead paid the $2000, but when we requested an itemized invoice, we were sent a general invoice with hours worked and general materials cost. I'm quite sure we paid for their mistake in busting our water pipe, but I'm also sure they'll never admit that. I would like Carter's Environment to understand, however, their poor customer service over a $1000 quote cost them $8500 in future septic work, which is what we paid another company (Anytime Septic) to replace our failed drain fields. How you make customers feel has real economic impact on your company and I will make sure everyone I know in the Floyd County area understands what you did to us."

"Very happy with the prompt and efficient service I received from Carter's to get my tank pumped out. Also had a new tank cover/lid installed that extends up to ground level to allow access to the tank without having to dig down to the tank. Josh and Adrian did a fine job. Very nice young men and a pleasure to talk to."
